Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will evaluate patients’ needs, develop individual treatment plans, and implement therapeutic activities to improve their physical and emotional well-being. You’ll collaborate closely with our healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial patient evaluations to determine treatment needs.
  • Create treatment plans with specified goals and strategies.
  • Implement therapeutic activities and adapt as needed to ensure effectiveness.
  • Continuously assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to patients as appropriate.
  • Document all patient interactions and therapy sessions accurately.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in occupational therapy
