We are on the lookout for an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join our Johannesburg team. You will leverage your expertise in cloud technologies to design and implement robust cloud infrastructure strategies that enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in DevOps practices and an ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain scalable cloud solutions for various applications.
• Champion cloud best practices across teams.
• Facilitate training sessions to upskill the engineering team on cloud technologies.
• Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for cloud projects.
• Document cloud architectures and procedures.
• Evaluate existing systems and recommend optimizations for performance.
• Serve as a point of contact for cloud-related inquiries.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in cloud solutions architecture or related role
