Job Description

We seek an experienced Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Pretoria. In this role, you will monitor security systems, respond to incidents, and conduct thorough investigations to enhance our cybersecurity measures. Proficiency in threat detection and incident response is essential as you work collaboratively to safeguard critical data.

Responsibilities

• Identify security weaknesses and implement countermeasures.
• Regularly review system logs for anomalies.
• Support the deployment of security tools and technologies.
• Coordinate with compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Create and run vulnerability management programs.
• Provide expertise in incident response activities.
• Advise on the security procurement of hardware and software.
• Develop comprehensive security documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a similar field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a cybersecurity role or a comparable position
