Job Description

As a Structural Engineer at Engineering Solutions Ltd., you will utilize your engineering expertise to design robust structures that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Responsibilities

• Create and modify structural designs based on project requirements and client specifications.
• Utilize CAD software to produce high-quality structural drawings.
• Assist in project management duties, including scheduling and budgeting.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss project needs and adjustments.
• Review and interpret contracts and specifications to ensure compliance.
• Lead design reviews and collaborate with project teams to promote innovative solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Master’s degree in Structural Engineering is preferable

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience focused on structural projects

Technical Skills

• Revit
• SAP2000

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Structural Engineer (CSE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with BIM technology: Proficient in Building Information Modeling for structural design.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations: Familiarity with Gauteng's building codes and compliance requirements.
