Job Description

We are seeking a Data Visualization Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will design and develop engaging data visualizations that drive strategic business decisions. You will work closely with data scientists and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver impactful visual data reports.

Responsibilities

• Design visually appealing data visualizations to explain insights derived from analysis.
• Utilize statistical techniques to optimize visual representations of data.
• Work closely with product and marketing teams to deliver data-driven insights.
• Identify areas for improvement in existing visual reports.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to enhance data-driven storytelling.
• Present findings to non-technical stakeholders in an understandable format.
• Develop a deep understanding of data sources and structures.
• Implement best practices for data visualization and dashboard design.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in data visualization
