Job Description

As a Registered Nurse at our Cape Town facility, you will play a vital role in patient care. You will be responsible for monitoring patient health, providing education on treatments, and advocating for patient needs. This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergency situations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform wound care and manage IV lines.
• Coordinate with other departments for patient tests/procedures.
• Assist with rehabilitation and patient mobility.
• Provide support and education for chronic disease management.
• Work with healthcare teams to improve patient care strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Experience

• 1-3 years of nursing experience in a clinical environment

Technical Skills

• Clinical assessment skills
• Medication administration

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Registered Nursing License

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in emergency care: Background in trauma or emergency nursing settings.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification: Certification in ACLS to assist in critical care scenarios.
