Environmental Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Consultant to join our Cape Town office. The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental assessments, compliance audits, and sustainable practice recommendations. You will be responsible for advising clients on environmental regulations and helping them implement effective strategies to minimize environmental impact.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough environmental assessments and compliance checks.
• Prepare and submit environmental impact reports to authorities.
• Advise clients on sustainable practices and policies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for project delivery.
• Facilitate workshops for clients on environmental best practices.
• Monitor and analyze environmental data and trends.
• Engage with regulators to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
• Assist in crisis management regarding environmental incidents.
• Mentor junior consultants and provide technical guidance.
• Participate in environmental advocacy campaigns and community projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Management is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in environmental consulting or sustainability-related roles
