Make Up Operator

Job Description

The Make Up Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the makeup process of the production line, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality goods. This role involves coordinating with team members to optimize production efficiency while adhering to strict quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble all necessary equipment and materials for the makeup production process.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Operate machinery to produce high-quality makeup products.
• Perform regular quality control checks to ensure that products meet the required standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to improve knowledge and skills.
• Collaborate with other production members to implement process improvements.
• Document and report any machinery issues to maintenance staff.
• Assist in training of junior operators.
• Regularly review production performance against set targets.
• Help maintain inventory levels of raw materials.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical diploma or certificate in manufacturing is highly preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in cosmetics manufacturing

Technical Skills

• Physical dexterity and strength
• Knowledge of safety, health, and environmental regulations

Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in operating and maintaining makeup machines: Familiarity with production machinery used in cosmetics.
• Experience in lean manufacturing principles: Knowledge of efficiency techniques that reduce waste.
