Job Description

We are searching for a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. This role involves protecting vital information and assets by implementing security measures, conducting threat assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of security protocols, risk management, and incident response strategies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security training sessions and workshops for staff.
• Stay updated on cybersecurity trends and regulatory requirements.
• Engage with external partners on cybersecurity initiatives.
• Analyze security metrics and produce reports for upper management.
• Maintain documentation of security processes and incidents.
• Assist with the design and implementation of secure network architectures.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Advanced security certifications are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in cybersecurity with hands-on experience in threat analysis
