Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to join our Durban team. In this role, you will design and implement environmental protection plans, conduct assessments, and ensure compliance with local and national regulations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of environmental laws and sustainability practices.

Responsibilities

  • Execute soil and water testing to identify contaminants.
  • Manage budgets for environmental projects to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance environmental performance.
  • Track project progress and prepare management reports.
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping for regulatory compliance.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
