Braider Operator

Job Description

As a Braider Operator, you will be responsible for operating braiding machines and producing braided products such as hoses, wires, and cables. You will utilize your understanding of the braiding process and troubleshooting skills to maintain and optimize machine performance.

Responsibilities

• Set up braiding machines for production runs and adjust settings as necessary.
• Monitor product consistency and make adjustments to machinery to enhance quality.
• Document production metrics and report any anomalies to the supervisor.
• Conduct regular checks on machine components to prevent breakdowns.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and improvements.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Education

• Technical qualification in manufacturing is desirable

Experience

• Proven experience in textile manufacturing, specifically braiding

Technical Skills

• Problem-solving
• Computer literate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with machine calibration: Ability to calibrate machinery for optimal performance.
• Quality inspection experience: Prior experience with quality inspection processes and methodologies.
