Environmental Compliance Specialist

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an Environmental Compliance Specialist responsible for ensuring that our operations meet environmental standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in environmental regulation compliance, conduct audits and assessments, and work collaboratively with various teams to promote a sustainable business model.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance audits and inspections to ensure operational alignment with environmental standards.
• Create educational materials and training programs for staff on compliance practices.
• Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to ensure their compliance with relevant regulations.
• Draft and disseminate compliance documentation and resources.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues.
• Manage the tracking and reporting of compliance-related metrics and initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Policy or a related field
• Master's Degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental compliance and regulatory affairs
