Job Description

Join our growing veterinary team in Bloemfontein as a Veterinarian. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating diverse animal health issues, educating pet owners about health care, and showcasing your skills within our supportive clinic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic tests, interpret results, and plan appropriate treatment.
  • Work in tandem with a dedicated team to improve animal welfare standards.
  • Recognize and manage various emergency situations.
  • Offer guidance on behavioral health and training for animals.
  • Develop and implement patient care protocols.
  • Conduct health checks prior to adoption for rescue animals.
  • Advocate for animal welfare and promote responsible pet ownership.
  • Manage client communications discreetly and empathetically.
  • Review, update, and maintain clinical protocols regularly.
  • Participate in studies or research on animal health trends.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in companion animal practice
