Job Description

As a Penetration Tester at CyberSecure Solutions, you'll be at the forefront of safeguarding our digital assets. Your role involves simulating attacks on our systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending proactive measures to secure our infrastructure. Ideal candidates should possess hands-on experience with penetration testing tools and a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify attack vectors.
• Assist in designing and implementing preventative measures.
• Monitor security metrics and track penetration testing outcomes.
• Review and analyse security incidents to enhance future testing.
• Communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor junior staff and help build skills within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles with a focus on penetration testing

Technical Skills

• Nessus
• Kali Linux
• Social Engineering

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented
• Time management

Certifications

• Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with incident response: Background in incident response procedures and techniques for real-time attack mitigation.
