Job Description

Become an integral part of our team as an SEO Specialist. Based in Cape Town, you will strategize and implement optimization techniques to improve search engine rankings for our clients. You will work collaboratively to ensure all campaigns are data-driven and aligned with user intent, delivering measurable growth in organic traffic and leads.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SEO strategy by analyzing data to target key metrics.
• Collaborate with product and content teams on website enhancements.
• Implement local SEO strategies to boost local search visibility.
• Refine and manage internal linking strategies.
• Analyze web traffic statistics and fine-tune SEO campaigns based on performance data.
• Keep track of SEO competitive landscape and be proactive with recommendations.
• Educate the team about search engine algorithms and changes.
• Develop reporting tools and dashboards to track performance metrics.
• Work with social media teams to integrate SEO into campaigns.
• Support other digital marketing efforts as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Digital Marketing
• Advanced SEO certifications are highly regarded

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years of proven SEO experience

Technical Skills

• SEO Software (e.g., SEMrush)
• Content Management Systems (CMS)
