Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. This role involves overseeing the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, with a particular emphasis on ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop engineering solutions that meet the project needs while considering cost, safety, and sustainability.
  • Lead project meetings with stakeholders to discuss progress and address challenges.
  • Review and approve designs and project reports prepared by junior engineers.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate construction methodologies and materials.
  • Serve as a liaison between the construction crew and upper management.
  • Train and mentor junior engineering staff.
  • Ensure all project documentation is complete and accurate.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • Master's degree is an added advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering roles
