We are seeking an experienced Information Security Manager to lead our cybersecurity initiatives in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing security strategies and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. You'll play a crucial role in protecting our assets and data against security threats, working collaboratively within a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a risk management framework.
• Ensure effective monitoring of security systems.
• Draft security documentation, including SOPs and guidelines.
• Provide expertise to the development of business continuity plans.
• Advise senior management on security trends and threats.
• Implement security measures for cloud environments.
• Conduct penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
• Collaborate on IT projects to incorporate security from the outset.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles

Technical Skills

• Firewall Management
• Vulnerability Assessment

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer

Languages

• English: Fluent
