We are currently seeking an Investment Banker to join our Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills necessary for client engagement and financial advisory services. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their financial needs and developing strategic solutions to meet those demands.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate investment opportunities for clients and advise accordingly.
• Design financial models to assess profitability and risk.
• Participate in client meetings and workshops to understand specific needs.
• Negotiate deal terms and assist in closing transactions.
• Prepare written reports and documents to support financial proposals.
• Conduct market research to identify potential growth opportunities.
• Oversee the execution of investment strategies.
• Maintain a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
• Develop marketing materials to promote investment services.
• Build lasting client rapport for future business.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
• Master's degree or MBA is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in investment banking or a related field
