Responsibilities

• Assess incoming applications for insurance policies and analyze risk factors.
• Document and justify underwriting decisions based on set criteria.
• Work with peer underwriters to calibrate risk levels across the portfolios.
• Engage with legal and compliance teams to ensure that underwriting aligns with company policies.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in the insurance industry or risk management

• Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU)
