Job Description

As a Safety Supervisor, you will oversee the adherence to safety protocols and policies in our manufacturing environment. You will ensure compliance with relevant legislation and promote a culture of safety within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the execution of safety procedures and monitor adherence to regulations.
• Lead safety training initiatives for new and existing staff.
• Conduct regular safety audits and prepare detailed reports.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies regarding safety compliance.
• Facilitate incident investigations and recommend corrective actions.
• Support management in the development of safety policies.
• Implement employee engagement programs focused on safety.
• Assess potential hazards and formulate risk mitigation plans.
• Regularly update safety documentation and training materials.
• Drive continuous improvement in the safety culture of the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety
• Professional certifications in Safety Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience managing a safety team.
