Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team in Pietermaritzburg. In this role, you will focus on designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions to optimize our development processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Azure, and will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive innovative projects.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage web applications on cloud platforms.
• Provide guidance on cloud system architecture.
• Develop scripting to automate routine tasks in cloud environments.
• Stay updated on new cloud offerings and technologies.
• Assist with training and mentoring junior cloud engineers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud development
