Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented UX Designer to join our vibrant team in Cape Town. As a UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting user-focused designs that enhance customer experiences. You will collaborate closely with product managers and developers to translate user requirements into tangible design solutions, ensuring our products are not only functional but also delightful to use.

Responsibilities

• Engage in user-centered design processes from concept to completion.
• Produce user personas and user journey maps.
• Work closely with the development team to implement designs effectively.
• Facilitate workshops to gather input from stakeholders.
• Analyze user feedback and make recommendations for improvements.
• Document design processes and best practices for the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in UX/UI Design or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in professional UX design roles

Technical Skills

• UI Design
• Prototyping Tools

• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with HTML/CSS: Solid understanding of front-end technologies and how they influence UX.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for design work.
