Responsibilities

• Lead design meetings with clients to gather requirements and expectations.
• Conduct field visits and inspections during construction phases.
• Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD and Revit for design and modelling.
• Mentor junior staff and interns on architectural best practices.
• Foster a collaborative team environment to drive project success.
• Implement sustainable building practices within project designs.
• Participate in community outreach programs to understand local needs.
• Prepare licensing and compliance documentation.
• Create project schedules and assigns duties to team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of design experience in various sectors

Technical Skills

• 3D Modelling
• BIM Software
• Sustainable Design Practices

Soft Skills

• Organizational Skills
• Client Relationship Management

Certifications

• Registered Architect in South Africa

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Landscape Design: Knowledge and experience in landscape architecture and design.
• Knowledge of Local Regulatory Standards: Familiarity with local building regulations and codes in South Africa.
