We are seeking a General Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor financial operations and address accounts issues.
• Consolidate and analyze financial data for reporting purposes.
• Support the finance manager in strategic planning.
• Ensure accuracy in financial reporting and account balancing.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
• Maintain organized financial records for analysis and compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional certification (CIMA, CA(SA)) is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
