Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Project Coordinator to lead and manage electrical projects in Cape Town. The successful candidate will coordinate project teams, manage timelines, and oversee project execution. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and exceptional communication skills to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Manage the procurement of materials and services for projects.
• Evaluate and select subcontractors based on project requirements.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess outcomes and lessons learned.
• Cultivate relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Develop job safety analyses and promote safe working practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in managing electrical projects

Technical Skills

• Electrical Engineering Principles
• MS Project/Primavera

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
• LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in project procurement: Skilled in managing procurement processes for project materials and services.
