Cybersecurity Consultant

Are you an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant looking to take your career to the next level? Join our team in Port Elizabeth to help protect critical systems against cyber threats. You will be responsible for conducting security assessments, managing incident responses, and collaborating with clients to enhance their security postures.

Responsibilities

• Perform penetration testing to identify potential weaknesses.
• Help clients comply with regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS).
• Work on incident simulations and tabletop exercises.
• Provide technical support during incidents and system breaches.
• Evaluate and recommend cybersecurity tools and technologies.
• Build relationships with clients by providing ongoing cybersecurity consultation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field
• Master’s degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity consultancy or related roles

Technical Skills

• Malware Analysis
• Cloud Security

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with SIEM tools: Experience using tools like Splunk or LogRhythm for incident management.
• Certifications in cloud security: AWS Certified Security – Specialty or similar certifications.
