As an IT Support Technician at Tech Solutions Pty Ltd, you will be the first point of contact for our clients experiencing technical issues. You will troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help maintain and support our IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Act as the first line of support for any IT-related issues.
Perform backups and data recovery procedures.
Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords.
Assist in monitoring system performance metrics.
Work with the IT department to design and improve systems.
Keep up with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Provide user training and troubleshooting assistance.
Foster a positive relationship with users and clients.
Help maintain the physical IT environment, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Assist in preparing and keeping technical documentation updated.
Advantageous
Familiarity with scripting languages: Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Bash.
Previous experience in a similar role: Background in an IT helpdesk or support technician role.
