Job Description

The Heat Treating Equipment Setter will operate and monitor hot rolling mills, ensuring that steel products are produced to the required specifications. This role demands physical endurance and a commitment to safety as you work in a hot manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the hot rolling process and ensure product quality at every stage.
• Conduct equipment checks and routine maintenance to avert breakdowns.
• Document findings and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
• Adhere strictly to safety and operational guidelines.
• Assist in the training of junior operators on effective procedures.
• Improve equipment efficiency through preventive measures.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical certification in manufacturing is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role

Languages
