Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Internal Auditor who will be responsible for assessing the reliability of financial statements and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of auditing principles and excellent analytical skills. You’ll be vital in crafting reports that inform management about financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits to assess compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of financial controls.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
• Work with management to address issues identified and follow up on actions taken.
• Perform risk assessments and suggest risk mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Financial Management or similar discipline
• Additional auditing certifications considered an asset

Experience

• 5 years of experience in internal or external auditing

Technical Skills

• Risk assessment

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
