We are seeking a detail-oriented Internal Auditor who will be responsible for assessing the reliability of financial statements and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of auditing principles and excellent analytical skills. You’ll be vital in crafting reports that inform management about financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Assess financial records for potential inaccuracies or fraud.
• Implement audit techniques to evaluate financial operations.
• Report on the effectiveness of internal controls and suggest improvements.
• Provide recommendations to enhance the quality of financial reporting.
• Assist management with risk management strategies and compliance schedules.
• Act as a training resource for junior auditors and staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Financial Management or similar discipline
• Additional auditing certifications considered an asset

Experience

• 5 years of experience in internal or external auditing

Technical Skills

• Risk assessment
• Audit management software

• Interpersonal skills

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
