Job Description

Responsibilities

• Perform medication therapy management for optimal patient support.
• Conduct health screenings and document patient information.
• Assist with training and mentoring pharmacy interns.
• Prepare and maintain accurate pharmacy records.
• Assist in the development and implementation of health promotion initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on patient care plans.
• Participate in continuous professional development activities.
• Promote the pharmacy’s services and health programs to the community.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Clinical Pharmacy
• Pharmacy Management Systems

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified Immunizer

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with patient counseling: Ability to effectively counsel patients regarding their medications and health strategies.
• Leadership experience: Prior leadership roles within pharmacy practice is an asset.
