We are on the hunt for a Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team in Johannesburg. You will design, implement, and manage cloud solutions that enhance business operations and promote seamless integration of technology within the infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in cloud architectures, with a solid foundation in DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud solutions tailored to the strategic needs of different projects.
• Work with cross-functional teams to enhance cloud capabilities.
• Troubleshoot cloud management issues and implement swift solutions.
• Define and manage service level agreements for cloud services.
• Create documentation for cloud architectures and deployment procedures.
• Educate teams on the advantages and capabilities of cloud technologies.
• Conduct performance tuning on network and storage configurations.
• Engage in vendor assessments and contract negotiations as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field
• Relevant cloud computing certifications are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in a cloud architect role or similar

• Google Cloud Platform
• Docker and Kubernetes

Soft Skills

• Project management
• Negotiation

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
