Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our passionate team in Cape Town. This role requires a qualified individual with a strong commitment to animal welfare and the ability to perform medical and surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care, maintaining a compassionate approach towards pets and their owners.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat a variety of animal health conditions.
  • Perform surgeries and assist with patient recovery plans.
  • Educate pet owners on health management and nutrition.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the veterinary facility and equipment.
  • Participate in regular training and professional development.
  • Work with local shelters to facilitate adoptions and spay/neuter programs.
  • Coordinate with external laboratories and specialists when specialized tests or treatments are needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent
Experience
  • 5+ years of clinical experience in veterinary medicine.
