Job Description

As a Technical Writer with our company, you will play a pivotal role in developing and refining user documentation for our software systems. You will work closely with developers and product managers to ensure that all content meets quality standards and user needs.

Responsibilities

• Craft and maintain user guides, installation guides, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with quality assurance teams to ensure accuracy of documentation.
• Review and adopt best practices in technical communication.
• Utilize graphic design software to enhance documentation visually.
• Train and mentor junior technical writers.
• Help establish documentation processes and workflows.
• Engage in continuous learning to keep up with industry trends.
• Analyze documentation effectiveness and suggest improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Master's degree in Communications or Technical Writing is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in technical writing for software

Technical Skills

• User experience (UX) design
• HTML/CSS

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Creativity

Certifications

• Technical Writer Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with localization and translation processes: Understanding how to write for global audiences.
• Familiarity with video documentation tools: Ability to create and edit video tutorials is a plus.
