Job Description

We are in search of dedicated Milling and Planing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our dynamic team. The successful candidates will play an integral role in operating and maintaining equipment used in the production process.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain various milling and planing machines.
• Inspect and measure finished parts for adherence to specifications.
• Adjust machine settings to ensure optimal operation and quality output.
• Assist in the development of production schedules.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with management to implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical training in machinery operation or manufacturing processes is a plus

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Basic CNC operation
• Quality control

Certifications

• Health and Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Quality control experience: Proven track record in ensuring product quality during the manufacturing process.
