Job Description

Seeking a proactive IT Support Technician to enhance our Bloemfontein office. The technician will manage IT systems, resolve technical issues, and assist in maintaining our hardware and software inventory.

Responsibilities

• Respond to IT support requests in a timely manner, ensuring user satisfaction.
• Maintain and optimize network equipment including switches and routers.
• Conduct regular backups of critical data and verify recovery processes.
• Engage in root cause analysis for recurring issues to prevent future occurrences.
• Assist in the development of IT policies and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training and personal development opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Information Technology or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in IT support or similar roles

• Linux Operating Systems
• VoIP Systems

Certifications

• CompTIA Network+ Certified
• ITIL Foundation Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
