We are seeking a talented Aerospace Engineer to contribute to our engineering projects in Pretoria. This role involves hands-on design, simulation, and analysis of aerospace components. The successful candidate should have a robust understanding of aerodynamics and structural analysis, with a track record of implementing efficient engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for new aerospace projects.
• Perform aerodynamic analysis and optimization.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for component procurement.
• Evaluate engineering changes and assess their impact.
• Oversee the integration of systems and subsystems.
• Conduct risk assessments and manage project risks.
• Keep up to date with the latest aerospace engineering developments.
• Assist in budget preparation and project financials.
• Develop documentation for design and analysis processes.
• Engage in project reviews and provide feedback to teammates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• A Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in aerospace projects

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Certifications

• Engineering in Training (EIT)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
