Sustainability Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Sustainability Consultant to work closely with businesses in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will help implement sustainable practices, conduct environmental assessments, and provide strategic guidance on eco-friendly initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and improve current sustainability practices within organizations.
• Develop presentations and materials for stakeholder engagement.
• Manage projects related to sustainability initiatives from inception to completion.
• Lead discussions around sustainability goals and strategies with clients.
• Collaborate with industry groups to advocate for sustainable practices.
• Monitor progress and provide analytical insights on sustainability efforts.
• Draft and present sustainability reports to senior management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies or related field
• Master's degree in Sustainability Management is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in environmental consultancy or sustainability roles

• Background in ecological restoration projects: Experience in leading or participating in ecological restoration efforts.
