Responsibilities

• Administer anaesthetics to patients prior to procedures.
• Perform restorative and cosmetic procedures as required.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor patient recovery post-treatment.
• Provide empathetic care to anxious or nervous patients.
• Participate in community outreach programs for oral health awareness.
• Collaborate with specialists for complex cases.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery
• Specialization in Orthodontics is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience in a dental practice

Technical Skills

• Cosmetic Dentistry
• Prosthodontics

• Team Leadership
• Time Management

Certifications

• Clinical Dentistry Certification
• Sedation Dentistry Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fluent in Xhosa or Afrikaans: Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.
• Previous teaching or mentoring experience: Experience in guiding dental students or junior staff.
