IT Support Technician

Job Description

We're on the lookout for a skilled IT Support Technician to join our Pretoria team! In this role, you'll troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring our clients receive first-class support. If you're tech-savvy and have a knack for problem-solving, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote access.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues effectively.
• Maintain and manage IT equipment and software installations.
• Assist in the configuration and setup of computer systems and peripherals.
• Document and escalate issues to relevant IT staff when required.
• Monitor system performance and implement improvements where needed.
• Train users on software and technologies as needed.
• Ensure all requests are logged and tracked accurately in the helpdesk system.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in IT or related field

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a technical support capacity

• Linux
• Active Directory

Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals

Languages

• English: Fluent
