Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant in Port Elizabeth to manage financial records and ensure compliance with accounting regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and experience in tax preparation and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger accounts.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of financial budgets.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial performance.
• Provide assistance during year-end financial audits.
• Conduct financial forecasting and scenario analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Professional certification (ACCA or equivalent) is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
