Actuarial Analyst

Job Description

Join our team as an Actuarial Analyst where you will analyze data to help shape our business strategies. You will work on quantitative modelling, conduct research, and present your findings to senior management, supporting the strategic goals of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Utilize statistical analysis tools to support risk assessments.
• Collaborate with finance and underwriting teams to optimize pricing models.
• Update and review existing models to reflect market changes.
• Contribute to the presentation of findings to stakeholders.
• Support the development of actuarial software and data tools.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
• Actuarial qualifications are a plus

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in actuarial analysis or similar role

• Excel
• R or Python
• Data Interpretation

Certifications

• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA)
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with actuarial software (e.g. Prophet, ResQ): Familiarity with leading actuarial software tools.
• Knowledge of IFRS 17 standards: Understanding of the latest international financial reporting standards affecting insurance.
