Job Description

We are on the lookout for an IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing technical support and administrative tasks. You will be responsible for resolving hardware and software issues, aiding users, and ensuring efficient IT operations.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to user inquiries and provide timely solutions to IT issues.
  • Assist with hardware upgrades and installation.
  • Manage backup and recovery systems to protect data.
  • Keep the IT documentation and user manuals updated.
  • Collaborate with third-party service providers as needed.
  • Schedule and conduct regular maintenance of IT systems.
  • Assist in cybersecurity initiatives and awareness training.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent
  • Relevant IT certifications preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a help desk role
