We invite a dedicated Adult Neurologist to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will provide expert diagnostic and treatment services for neurological disorders, offering vital support to adult patients suffering from conditions such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson's disease. Collaboration with fellow healthcare professionals is critical to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations to diagnose a range of neurological issues.
• Create and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing patient assessments and feedback.
• Collaborate closely with fellow healthcare providers to ensure quality care and service delivery.
• Engage in continuous learning and share advancements with the department.
• Support and guide junior staff and fellows in their professional development.
• Participate in hospital committees to improve healthcare delivery and policies.
• Advocate for patient-centered care within the healthcare setting.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Medicine
• Postgraduate qualification in Neurology preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in neurology practice

• Certified by the Health Professions Council of South Africa
