Job Description

Join our forensic team as a Fingerprint Clerk, where you'll manage fingerprint identification processes and collaborate with law enforcement to provide essential support in criminal investigations.

Responsibilities

• Receive and catalog fingerprint samples from various sources, including crime scenes.
• Utilize fingerprint identification software for accurate comparisons and analyses.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient processing of fingerprint samples.
• Organize and maintain fingerprint databases to facilitate quick access and retrieval.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Assist in training new staff members in fingerprint collection and analysis procedures.
• Prepare and present findings to support investigations within the forensic team.
• Respond to queries regarding the fingerprint identification process from law enforcement.
• Implement best practices for data protection and confidentiality agreements.
• Promote continuous improvement in fingerprint identification processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Forensic Science or related field
• Additional certification in forensic analysis is preferred.

Experience

• Experience in law enforcement procedures is an advantage.
