Responsibilities

• Assess risk factors and develop insurance quotes based on findings.
• Work with the claims department to resolve underwriting issues.
• Provide training for junior underwriters as needed.
• Utilize underwriting software for accurate assessments.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for insurance.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss underwriting strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an underwriter

Certifications

• Chartered Insurance Underwriter (CII)

Languages
