Job Description

We are searching for a dedicated pharmacist to provide exceptional healthcare services in Durban. You will be responsible for medication dispensing, advising patients on drug interactions, and contributing to improving overall health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications and provide medication therapy management.
• Counsel patients on the proper use of prescriptions and over-the-counter medications.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and pharmacy policies.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care.
• Monitor patient health outcomes and report any adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient profiles.
• Provide health information and advice on medication-related queries.
• Ensure the pharmacy is well-stocked with medications and supplies.
• Train and supervise pharmacy assistants and interns.
• Participate in community health initiatives and outreach programs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• PharmD is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting
