We are seeking an experienced Investment Banker to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of financial markets to provide strategic advice and solutions to our esteemed clients. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in raising capital, mergers and acquisitions, and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements and deliver comprehensive financial advice.
• Create pitch books and presentations for client strategy sessions.
• Analyze financial performance and assess investment risk.
• Develop strategic recommendations based on market analysis.
• Coordinate and manage transaction processes from initiation to completion.
• Foster relationships with investors and financial institutions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance-related field
• Master's degree in Finance or relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 3-6 years in a similar role within an investment bank or financial advisory firm

• Pitch Book Development
• Market Research

Certifications

• CFA Level 2 preferred
• Financial Risk Manager (FRM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
