Job Description

We are seeking a Briquetting Machine Operator responsible for the operation and maintenance of briquetting machines. The ideal candidate will be adept at converting various materials into high-quality compacted briquettes, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate briquetting machines, monitoring the production process.
• Adjust and calibrate settings to ensure optimal performance and quality.
• Collect and assess input materials, ensuring they meet production standards.
• Conduct regular cleaning and maintenance of machines to ensure longevity.
• Identify and rectify machine faults promptly to minimize downtime.
• Comply with occupational health and safety standards at all times.
• Track production metrics and report any discrepancies.
• Work with colleagues to streamline production processes.
• Implement quality checks to ensure consistency in briquette quality.
• Complete all required documentation related to production activities.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Experience

• Experience in the renewable energy industry is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of quality control principles
• Ability to read technical manuals

Soft Skills

• Effective communication skills
• Physical stamina

Advantageous

• Basic welding and fabrication skills: Ability to perform basic welding and repair tasks as needed.
