Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills and an understanding of law enforcement procedures, ensuring the safety and security of our premises and personnel. Your responsibilities will include monitoring security systems, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
  • Utilize surveillance equipment to monitor activities in and around the premises.
  • Maintain effective communication with management regarding potential threats.
  • Participate in community watch programs coordinated with local law enforcement.
  • Lead security briefings to convey potential risks and updates to security measures.
  • Implement crowd control measures during events and high-traffic periods.
  • Engage with community members to foster a sense of safety and security.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Diploma in Security Management is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in security operations or law enforcement
