We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our Port Elizabeth team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality technical support, resolving IT issues, and assisting with system administration. Ideal candidates should have strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance on IT equipment and ensure reliability.
• Investigate hardware/software issues and resolve promptly.
• Document all technical support activities and user interactions.
• Support the roll-out of new applications and features.
• Facilitate onboarding for new employees regarding IT systems.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay updated with technology trends.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in IT support

Experience

• 3+ years in IT support or administration

Technical Skills

• Mac OS
• Hardware Troubleshooting

Soft Skills

• Customer Service
• Teamwork

Certifications

• ITIL Foundation
• Cisco Certified Technician

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiar with scripting languages: Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash to automate tasks.
